There was a change made in the Union Repo, the commit was described as:

Set total supply to 10B.
This could mean that the total supply of $U can be 10B

This could be a hint from the Union team that mainnet and TGE is near.

Also, this isn't confirmed info as Union is still in the testnet phase. But it's high likely that this was an Easter egg.
