Case Update: Tollygunge PS Case No. 171/25

This morning, a body bearing visible injuries was found near 162A Sarat Bose Road. The victim had apparently a fractured right hand and was bleeding from the left ear. Based on CCTV footage analysis and local inquiries, the accused, a vagabond, was promptly identified.

in a swift joint operation by the Detective Department, and Tollygunge Police Station was launched. Finally, the accused was arrested from Joynagar within X hours of the incident. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime.

The post-mortem examination has been conducted. Further investigation is in progress.

টালিগঞ্জ থানার পুলিশ ও ডিটেকটিভ ডিপার্টমেন্টের একটি যৌথ অভিযানে, ঘটনার ৯ ঘণ্টার মধ্যে অভিযুক্তকে জয়নগর এলাকা থেকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়। জিজ্ঞাসাবাদের সময় অভিযুক্ত ব্যক্তি অপরাধের দায় স্বীকার করেছে।
