I'm driving to Jasper Beach, and it's two hours away. We are passing towns as old as 1779. Which brought up the XX colonies. We started talking about American history and really got into it. 

This is what makes vacations great imo. Spending time and somebody learns a little something each time. 

They have these flags on the road. Under every few, it has the pledge allegiance. Pretty cool if ya ask me.
