Breaking News;
XX July, 2025

The Republic of Balochistan strongly condemns the recurring failures of Pakistan’s missile tests that continue to violate Balochistan’s territorial integrity and endanger civilian lives.

According to Baloch locality, the invading forces of Pakistan carried out a failed experiment of a missile test in Republic of Balochistan on Tuesday, XX July 2025. Locals reported that the missile was fired from Balochistan’s territory of Dera Ghazi Khan which landed dangerously close to civilian settlements—just XXX meters north of the Loop Sehrani Levies Station, within the Grapan ravine. Had the missile landed slightly off-course, it could have caused significant civilian casualties and extensive property damage.

This is not an isolated case. The Pakistani military has been systematically using missile testing as a pretext to forcibly evacuate Baloch civilians from strategic regions, including Dera Bugti, Kahan, and their surrounding areas. Local populations have reported threats and intimidation, signaling an alarming trend of state-engineered displacement aimed at facilitating unimpeded access for resource exploitation.

In recent years, Pakistan has further escalated its militarization of Balochistan by transforming the region into a testing ground for ballistic missiles and other advanced weaponry, often in collaboration with foreign powers.

It is important to recall that this is not the first such incident. In October 2023, a previous failed missile test saw a projectile launched from Punjab crash into agricultural lands in Dera Bugti, again dangerously close to populated areas.

On May 28, 1998, the Pakistani state conducted six nuclear tests in the Chaghai district of occupied Balochistan, exploiting the region without the consent of its indigenous population. Decades later, the surrounding areas remain contaminated by harmful nuclear radiation, causing widespread and long-term health crises, including cancer, chronic skin diseases, and other serious medical conditions among the local Baloch communities.

We call upon the United Nations, UN Security Council, and relevant international human rights organizations to:

* Impose an arms embargo on Pakistan;

* Enforce strict sanctions on its ballistic missile and nuclear programs;

*Investigate Pakistan’s repeated violations of civilian safety and sovereignty in Balochistan;

*Monitor the forced displacement of Baloch populations due to fear of missile tests and air force bombing of the civilian population.
