Michael Gayed’s ETF $RORO uses his lumber/gold indicator to rotate risk-on in equities or risk-off in treasuries. For much of the historic $SPX rally he and his indicator misidentified it as risk-off. As a result his ETF severely underperformed $SPY. Catching knives is worthless.
