you're probably doing KOL marketing completely wrong

here are X tips i learned after spending $1.5m on influencer campaigns with @omni_agency:

1/ match KOLs to your sector

dont promote your rwa project with a defi influencer or use a gaming kol to shill your ai tool

it wont work. align with your customer sectors and stop wasting money.

2/ avoid oversaturated KOLs

a kol doing a shit ton of promoting on their feed usual underperforms because of audience burnout. 

find the relevant and impactful kols, not the busy ones.

3/ audit actual price impact

check if kol calls drive volume or price movement on charts

you can use @Protokols_io for this data. then, you'll know which ones are better to work with.

4/ prioritize smart followers

use tools like @Cookie3_com or @KaitoAI to verify audience quality. 

dont waste your time with a bot bloated kol account

5/ understand rapid market saturation

what worked as a tactic X months ago is probably dead now. we live in a copy pasta world.

approach every campaign from a unique angle and out innovate everyone else.

6/ timing is everything

kol posts need engagement within the first X hours to hit algorithm. coordinate timing with your network for maximum impact.

late engagement = wasted money

7/ leverage brand relationships

partnerships > paid posts. ill die on this hill.

why? because its a super cost effective way to generate audience exposure (through association).

find and work with established web3 brands to elevate your campaigns.

8/ monitor sentiment constantly

this goes back to timing but getting even granular by tracking socials; getting a feel for  where peoples heads are at.

and sentiment shifts fast in crypto. stay informed.

9/ build relationships before you need them  

most founders only reach out to kols when they need something. this puts you at the back of the line. start conversations early. engage with their content. 

become a familiar name before you have a campaign to run.
