Change is in the air. If anyone has been on the site today, they would have noticed something very different. The theme is now all about powering AI. The focus and narrative has completely shifted towards AI.

There is also a new section on the website that was previously not there, the AI Data Centers page, that highlights the company's strengths in bringing DCs to the end customer.

It's also good to see that $IREN has finally gotten the Google SEO updated. When searching for "iren cloud", is at the top of the search list, the way it should be. The next result is to that also has abundant material about AI and DCs. However, I do not see a direct link from to and the AI Cloud section of the website has a slightly different look, but still offering info about the GPUs being offered by $IREN. Perhaps better integration between X sites can be improved. This is a pretty quick fix if needed.

I know the current POTUS would like to have Canada as the 51st state, but this has not happened yet. So I was surprised to see that the BC sites are now a part of either Montana or Wyoming. I think the geography whizzes doing that section of the website might want to reconsider where the more precise geographic locations are for the BC sites. Having some jurisdictional diversification isn't a bad thing. Who knows, the Canadian sites might even be able to attract current EU customers due to some of the regulatory alignment. 😉

While I don't think IREN will completely move away from BTC mining, as they have come a long way in creating a very profitable business out of it, and it can serve a very useful purpose as a profit generating load balancer to an AI/HPC site. The focus now is clearly on the electrical infrastructure and capacity itself. It's only a website, but it is signaling the change that is in the air.
