How will it survive the government trying to shut it down?  

Have you been paying attention. This administration is embracing BTC. 

Trump Media buys $X billion in bitcoin as it pursues crypto treasury strategy.

Just because the volatility is reducing in terms of percentages doesn't mean it's reducing in terms of whole numbers.  

Volatility is good embrace it.

A small minority of BTC owners own a vast majority of the supply. 

The adoption of BTC today is about 3-5 percent.

Over time Bitcoin will be held by far more people and institutions. Think of FB when only X Million people used it and now Billions do.
