In a small French town near Nice, the Boulevard Stalingrad has been renamed — the Russian embassy is in shock 🤡

Russians expressed their outrage and called the decision immoral and sacrilegious, reports AFP.

🇫🇷However, the French didn’t pay attention to these whiny protests, and now the Boulevard Stalingrad in Drap will become Boulevard des Rives du Paillon — named after the river that runs through the town.

The mayor of the town, Robert Nardelli (probably for the sake of decency), said that his deputy might have "gone too far" with the renaming proposal — but he supported the decision.
