X. XX Cents vs Kanye West.

In 2007, both rappers were set to release their respective albums - Curtis by XX Cent and Graduation by Kanye West - on the same day. XX Cent boldly claimed he would retire if West's album outsold his. The media played up this rivalry, turning it into one of the biggest hip-hop events of the year. When the dust settled, Kanye's Graduation emerged victorious in sales overselling by high gap. Despite this, XX Cent didn't retire and both artists continued to respect each other's work.
