Thank you, @RealNimona, for raising important questions and for your interest in Codatta. Good questions are often more valuable than good answers.
And thank you as well to @jason_chen998 for your attention and thoughtful interpretation of our project.

We’d like to respond to the questions raised:

X. Is an early TGE really a good sign?

Some ask: Wasn’t it supposed to be a 12-week campaign? Why cut it in half? Is the hype running out, or was it never meant to last until the end?

Let’s clarify: “Is an early TGE necessarily bullish?” — Not always. Just like some companies treat IPOs as an endpoint, while others see them as a starting point. For us, TGE marks the beginning.

As for “cutting the 12-week campaign in half” — that’s not accurate. The Booster campaign was always designed with Pre-TGE and Post-TGE phases. The division and scheduling of tasks are flexible and up to the project team, so it’s natural for the TGE to happen within the 12-week period.

We believe @binance @BinanceWallet designed Booster to optimize the traditional airdrop + listing model by:

Prioritizing real engagement between projects and communities,

Attracting verified and active users (via Binance Wallet & KYC),

And delivering more valuable airdrops based on contribution, not luck.

X. Can a “low valuation” hold up in the market?

Raising less doesn’t mean there will be no selling pressure. A clean secondary market might actually make it easier for people to get dumped on.

There’s no way to know this until we’re on the secondary market — any claims would be speculative. We, too, are hoping for validation from the market.

X. Is it legit to say you’re serving the SEC/FBI?

To clarify: Codatta does not directly serve the SEC or FBI.

However, among our paying clients are those who serve law enforcement, regulators, and major CEXs. One such partner is CipherOwl, with whom we have a design partnership.

CipherOwl is backed by General Catalyst (a VC firm equivalent to a16z in Web2: and was founded by two former Coinbase executives who played a key role in building Coinbase’s compliance system.

Our collaboration began in early 2023, even before CipherOwl’s founders left Coinbase. It aligns with our core strengths, especially from our open-source project Microscope Protocol, which was featured on Coinbase’s official blog:

This partnership not only brings us a steady cash flow but also allows us to share real revenue with our community contributors. We continue to improve on cost efficiency, data quality, and contributor management — short-term and long-term.

X. Do Booster tasks have real business value?

Some have said: Tagging food or images just feels like filler, far from being real commercial-grade data.

Here’s a fact: A major Chinese internet company (with its own foundation model) that previously ran a food image + metadata AI tagging project has already validated and started collaborating with us based on the value of the data collected during the first X weeks of Booster.

If you’re skeptical about the value of simple annotations, check out the legendary ImageNet dataset initiated by @drfeifei — — a prime example of how large-scale “simple” labeling can enable massive breakthroughs in AI.

Booster tasks were designed with two goals:

Let users participate in the full lifecycle of AI development: from collecting and annotating training & test data (with the aim of creating high-quality benchmark datasets), to fine-tuning models for domain-specific performance, and evaluating them through real user judgments, while receiving actual revenue share from their data contributions.

Empower users to contribute intelligence across domains, building valuable datasets from their knowledge. That’s why the 12-week campaign is structured progressively:

Season X (S1): Focused on data collection and labeling — gradually increasing complexity, adding more dimensions, and introducing automated validation.

Season X (S2): Introduces human validation of model outputs, evaluation of fine-tuned models, and expands into new areas like embodied intelligence (robotics) and on-chain address labeling.

Season X (S3 - a sneak peek): We hope the community can help expand expert networks to build frontier datasets. For example, we collaborated with retired US/Canada pathologists last year to create this open dataset:

All of this illustrates the real value behind Booster tasks — they’re not gimmicks, but groundwork for impactful AI.

X. Will being listed on Binance Spot really happen?

Some say: Booster is still an experiment. Binance has had other “firsts” that didn’t go far.

We agree — no one can guarantee any project will list on Binance Spot.
Even projects favored by @cz_binance @heyibinance must follow strict standards and compliance processes.

That said, Binance’s Alpha program was the first step in standardizing and opening up its listing pipeline.

We understand Booster as the second step — aiming to improve price discovery, giving users more time to understand a project pre-TGE, instead of just airdropping tokens to be dumped.

It’s about “guiding and sustaining” a project’s launch — not just throwing it out there.
Of course, this is our own interpretation as a project team, and not official Binance communication.

We hope this provides more clarity and transparency for our community.
