Israel-Damascus talks resume with US-Turkiye mediation despite ongoing strikes:

According to Saudi-based Al-Hadath channel, dialogue between Tel Aviv and Damascus — previously cut off due to Israel’s attacks on Damascus under the pretext of targeting Druze — has resumed.

The report states that Turkiye and the United States are mediating the negotiations, and an Israeli delegation is expected to travel to Baku soon to finalize agreements reached with Syria.

The report also notes that Israel has not committed to halting its attacks in Syria and is demanding a demilitarized zone along the Israel-Syria border, with a permanent presence within this buffer area.
