The Director-General of UNESCO, Ms Audrey Azoulay, toured the Great Zimbabwe Monuments as part of her official visit to Zimbabwe. She was accompanied by the Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Honourable Barbara Rwodzi, Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to UNESCO and France, Dr Sekai Nzenza, Masvingo Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Honourable Ezra Chadzamira, France’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Paul-Bertrand Barets, as well as officials from UNESCO and the Government of Zimbabwe.
