The claim that Arsenal paid XXX billion Naira for a player from the Portuguese league isn't accurate. 

Arsenal's biggest confirmed signing from Portugal was Fabio Vieira from Porto in 2022, for around €40 million (which is about XX billion Naira at typical exchange rates), and recent targets like Viktor Gyokeres have been valued at around £60-65 million, far below XXX billion Naira. 

So, while Arsenal have spent big, there's no verified deal close to that XXX billion Naira mark for a Portuguese league player.
