Viktor Gyökeres will sign a five-year contract at Arsenal subject to formalities.

€63.5m+€10m package, with the fixed fee reduced from €70m after Gyökeres' agent waived a XX% commission payable by Sporting.

Payment terms and €2.5m in bonuses needed finalising after the fee was agreed.

Gyökeres decided to wait for Arsenal despite interest from both Europe and Saudi Arabia. 

Manchester United never bid, or had plans to, despite being offered the chance by Sporting to try and hijack the deal.🇸🇪
