🇺🇦 Financial Times: Ukraine restricts the independence of anti-corruption bodies.

The Ukrainian parliament supported the Presidential Office's initiative to strengthen control over the country's independent anti-corruption agencies, which critics say will give Zelensky's circle more influence over investigations.

“The decision to bring the National Anti-Corruption Bureau under executive control is another step in a series of maneuvers against reform supporters and anti-corruption fighters, which has raised concerns about growing authoritarianism in the president's military administration and caused worry among Ukraine's Western allies.“
