Happy Feast of St. Mary Magdalene!  In today's beautiful Gospel, the Risen Christ appears first to Mary Magdalene and asks her to tell his other disciples the news of the Resurrection (Jn 20).  Thus, in the time between her encounter with Christ and her proclamation to the disciples, Mary was, in a sense, the church on earth. For only to her had been revealed the full Paschal Mystery.
