Cloudflare’s new “Pay-Per-Crawl” beta says: bots, pay up or get out.

Yesterday @hubdotxyz answered with “Cloudflare Is Trying to Gatekeep, But Hub Is Opening the Web.”

Their take: the old scrape-from-data-centers model is dying; AI needs real-time context from people-powered endpoints, not corporate IP farms. 

Hub’s edge mesh (190+ countries, residential connections, user consent) aims to serve that live feed and sidestep XXX paywalls altogether.
