Reka AI, a Sunnyvale-based startup founded in 2022 by ex-Google and Meta researchers, raised $110M from investors including Nvidia $NVDA and Snowflake $SNOW tripling its valuation to over $1B. Previously valued at $300M in 2023, Reka builds large language models. Despite failed acquisition talks with Snowflake, collaboration continues. 

“Very few teams in the world have the capability to build what they’ve built,” said Snowflake’s $SNOW Vivek Raghunathan, praising Reka’s talent.
