UNESCO: Archibald MacLeish the Librarian of Congress served as the first US representative to UNESCO drafting its founding constitution. He famously wrote the preamble:

“Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that the defenses of peace must be constructed.”

Since then UNESCO has been captured by China and tinpot dictators. The US created the organization with the best of intentions, intentions it no longer serves. It is a good thing to leave.
