Being a good person doesn’t mean you’ll have an easy life.

You can be honest, loyal, and work hard, but still be ignored, betrayed, or hurt.

Life doesn’t reward you just for being good, it rewards you for getting things done.

Having good character is important, but power, discipline, and results make the difference.

So I stopped expecting life to be fair.
I started working on my influence.

Now I know being good is the starting point, but being great is what it takes.
