You are all wrong. This is basic shit. Go back to school. Western Civilization began in Greece. It was the Greeks who: 
- Invented philosophy as a discipline (Socrates, Plato, Aristotle). 
- Developed early forms of democracy (Athens). 
- Created rational inquiry, logic, and metaphysics. 
- Pioneered Western literature, drama, and historiography (Homer, Sophocles, Herodotus). 
- Articulated foundational ideas about human nature, ethics, and the polis.  Mount Sinai was pivotal for Hebraic religion, not for Western civilization. 

The moral teachings of the Hebrew Bible later influenced Western thought, especially via Christianity, but they did not originate the West by any stretch of the imagination.  

The West emerged from a Greco-Roman matrix, later grafted with Judeo-Christian values, but its roots are unmistakably Hellenic. The legal system, science, art, architecture, and political theory all trace back to Greece and Rome.
