You just know that if Arsenal fans were told in May that their big summer signings would be Madueke & Gyokeres, the reaction would be overwhelmingly negative.

It’s very much a “we’ll go with what we’ve got” approach now that they’ve been forced to accept. 

But it’s far from ideal preparation in a “must-win” season where the teams immediately below them have significantly strengthened - not to mention the Champions.
