I think that, despite it being easy for non-crypto guys, the smart contract account has limited security opportunities 

like one hack, and your funds are gone

you cannot manage your private keys as well

however, I am also glad there is a Ledger & XION integration that makes it more secure

and the team keeps pushing with security audits and trusted validators too
