Munich Re posted a Q2 2025 profit of €2.1 billion—well above analyst forecasts—driven by strong operational performance and unusually low major losses in P&C and specialty insurance. 

Despite currency headwinds and losses in life & health, the group remains on track to hit its €6 billion full-year profit target.
