Well, that was the closest I’ve ever come to missing a flight. Car had a tyre blowout on the M6 and it took the RAC X hours to come - fitted a ‘biscuit’ wheel (which we can keep until we return) & we made it to Birmingham Airport X minute before the check-in gate closed 🙏
