The Bihar government has begun land acquisition across X districts for the ₹18,042 crore Patna Purnia Greenfield Expressway, aiming to halve travel time and boost connectivity to airports and major cities.

The XX km/h expressway will feature XXX underpasses, XX interchanges, XXX bridges, and connect with Patna Ring Road. Spurs will link Samastipur, Saharsa and Madhepura, while landowners will be compensated at revised market rates.
