People forget that ASML earns only about X cents on every $XXX (For each $10,000+ NVIDIA GPU like the H100, ASML earns about $X in revenue — a tiny fraction, but still one of the most critical links in making it possible). It is a tiny fraction of the whole chip for others as well. When average out about X cent on XXX dollar. $NVDA, $AMD, $Apple makes about XX - XX% of that $XXX depending on type of chip, maker, and year. So even though it’s critical, this Dutch firm isn’t fully capitalizing on its technology. I am only long because they are changing their revenue model and that could be a great catalyst as it has more pricing power on a yoy basis. The second issue is the potential surprise from China. There’s a real chance China could reverse-engineer this and undercut them. Just putting out the real risks. I’m long.
