Is the Fed truly politically independent? 

Fed cut XX bps before a Presidential Election last year. Let’s compare Beige Book data. 

Between the September 2024 and June 2025 Beige Books, more Federal Reserve districts reported flat or negative growth. Persistent weakness in manufacturing, consumer spending, and hiring, along with rising uncertainty, signaled a broad economic slowdown and increased regional caution.

Action speak louder than words. Fed Cheerleaders on MSM keep stating the Fed is independent. Beige book, Inflation Data, Employment Data, and an effective FFR at XXXX% says otherwise.
