📦 You could literally mail a baby in 1913

In January 1913, when the U.S. Postal Service introduced parcel service, an Ohio couple:

– Mailed their infant son to grandma’s house
– Paid 15¢ in postage
– Insured him for $XX (worth ~$1,500 today)
– Distance: ~1 mile
– Delivery: By a mailman on foot

USPS banned shipping humans shortly after.
