Kenya’s women’s 4x400m relay team has officially secured qualification for the World Championships in Tokyo, doing so in breathtaking fashion.

The squad shattered the national record with a stunning time of 3:27.50, eclipsing the previous benchmark of 3:28.02. Esther Mbagari launched the charge, with clean handoffs to Mercy Adongo and Lanolin Aoko, before Mary Moraa powered through the anchor leg to seal the record and qualification.
