Secret Labs just dropped a mid-year update on everything powering @SecretNetwork + SecretAI and it’s one of the boldest pivots I’ve seen in crypto.

First, the foundation: Secret Network is stronger than ever.
✅ MRENCLAVE upgrades for deeper security
✅ SNIP-250 shipped (better privacy UX + blanket permits)
✅ Cron module integrated for on-chain scheduling
✅ Dashboard upgrades for batch wrapping

But here’s where it gets interesting: Secret didn’t just “improve a blockchain.” They’re now building tools to run off-chain confidential AI and verifiable workloads, all inside trusted enclaves. And they’re already live. Quietly rewriting what’s possible. They call it: SecretVM + SecretAI

It’s a full stack for developers to deploy:
• Private LLM inference
• Confidential agent ops
• AI/ML with provenance
• Dockerized workloads with cryptographic message signing
All verifiable. All trustless. All confidential.

This isn’t vaporware. It’s in use.

💠 @arweave
💠 @earthdotnetwork
💠 @fetch_ai
💠 @AutonomysAI
💠 @SolidusAITech
💠 @OthenticXYZ
💠 @quex_protocol
And they’re only just getting started with compute partnerships.

They also made a tough but smart call:
⏸️ Paused Gramine PoC
⚙️ Doubled down on shipping SecretAI/VM

Why? Because the bottleneck isn’t performance, it’s capability. Secret is chasing product-market fit in confidential compute, not polishing for perfection.

The focus now is simple:
→ Give devs full control to launch, verify, and scale private workloads
→ Lower friction with tools like GitHub deploys, SSL by default, and AI-powered dockerization
→ Expand supported model types (image gen, healthcare AI, more)

Meanwhile, back on-chain…

Secret is also working toward decentralizing SNIP upgrades. No more contract owner control. Future upgrades will be governed by the community.

That’s the kind of move that quietly earns long-term trust. This isn’t the same Secret from 2022. It’s evolving into something more: A general-purpose privacy layer for Web3, on-chain and off-chain. Devs can now build apps that protect their users at every layer.

Final thoughts:
→ Privacy isn’t just about hiding transactions anymore
→ Secret is chasing something way bigger:
Verifiable, confidential computation.

That’s the unlock that takes Web3 mainstream, and Secret’s already running.
