AJ Styles was reportedly originally planned for a segment with Frankie Kazarian at TNA Slammiversary. 

However, this was changed to the segment with Leon Slater "in the hours before the event." 

As per the report, some sources in TNA believe that WWE had input in this change as they may not have wanted to promise a future match between Styles and Kazarian.
