Valery Gergiev's concert in Italy has been cancelled thanks to the efforts of many people. That is wonderful news and a symbolic victory.

However, I’d like to remind that Gergiev also has concerts scheduled in Barcelona, Spain, at the beginning of 2026, organized by Ibercamera. The planned venues are the renowned and respected Palau de la Música Catalana and L'Auditori.

What's curious is that these concerts are not currently listed in the schedule, and tickets are not on sale.

Friends, do I have anyone among my followers who has the most current information and can clarify whether Gergiev’s concert in Barcelona is still planned?

It is important that the organizers of the event make a clear definite statement whether Gergiev will make an appearance.
