JUST IN: Over XXXXXXX pages related to the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. have been declassified by the Trump administration.

Here’s what’s inside — and why it matters

X. These documents were handed over to the National Archives by the FBI in 1977 — but sealed.

They include:
🔹 Investigations after MLK’s assassination
🔹 FBI files on his anti-war & anti-poverty work
🔹 Surveillance records

X. The FBI, under Director J. Edgar Hoover, wiretapped MLK Jr., spied on him, and sought to destroy his reputation.

He was labeled a “national security threat” — simply for fighting injustice.

X. The files may not confirm any new facts about MLK’s murder, but what they do show is chilling:

How a government agency tried to discredit one of the most powerful civil rights leaders in history.

X. MLK’s children, Martin Luther King III and Bernice King, released a bold statement:

They believe James Earl Ray — the man convicted of the murder —
"was not the only one responsible, if he was responsible at all."

X. James Earl Ray pleaded guilty but later claimed he was forced to confess.
He died in 1998, still denying he acted alone.

Was MLK’s death the result of a deeper conspiracy?

X. XX years later, America is still searching for answers.

These documents may not close the case,
but they reopen the conversation about truth, power, and justice.

X. MLK once said:
"The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice."
