There is a delusional belief within Ireland’s political establishment that it has significant influence over events in the Middle East & that what it says matters. The reality is, that other than making background noise that encourages delusional genocidal Jihadi terrorists to believe that if they continue to retain hostages &  continue their war global leaders will assist in the destruction of Israel,  Ireland has zero influence over events there. But the rhetoric & action of Ireland’s political establishment has significant influence on public perception within Ireland & is a significant factor in creating a warped perception of events & self inflicted economic damage.
