The tech behind Nova is called AnyTrust.

Here’s the simple version:

Instead of posting all data on Ethereum (like a rollup), Nova uses a Data Availability Committee (DAC) to hold the data — offchain.

It’s faster and way cheaper. Like, micropayment cheap.
