While exact figures on pending violent convictions aren't publicly aggregated, the law ensures deportation for any alien charged with theft, assaulting officers, or crimes causing death/serious injury.

This policy shift from catch-and-release to mandatory detention is already removing predators like convicted murderer Phong Thanh Nguyen and armed kidnapper Juan Felix Yanes-Montano.
