‼️ Russia to Replace WhatsApp with State-Controlled ‘Max’ App, - The Times

The Kremlin is preparing to ban WhatsApp and introduce Max, a government-developed app that will come pre-installed on all digital devices in Russia from September X. 

Officially presented as a messaging and services platform, Max reportedly enables extensive surveillance of users’ communications, financial activity, locations, and internet browsing.
