@semaperepelitsa @Blacknatwatch @billybinion National insurance pays for much more than the NHS. Most of it goes straight back to the people who’ve paid it all their lives. Only XX% to the NHS. 

That said, I will concede that the UK state pension is one of the worst anywhere and the US one is MUCH better
