Zimbabwe has a unique opportunity to present African-led solutions to wetland and environmental degradation. Wetlands are the kidneys of the Earth and, for Zimbabwe, they are our lifeline. As a landlocked country, wetlands are critical sources of clean, fresh water and provide vital ecosystem services. Yet, the current state of wetlands across Zimbabwe shows we have urgent work to do.
