Zim Defies Global Slump — Mineral Exports Up XX% in H1‼️

Despite global commodity headwinds, Zimbabwe’s mineral exports surged XX% in the first half of 2025, reaching XXX million tonnes valued at US$1.395 billion, according to MMCZ.

🔹 Platinum, gold, diamonds, and chrome lead the charge
🔹 Govt mulls chrome ore export ban to encourage local beneficiation
🔹 NRZ inefficiencies & environmental concerns remain major hurdles
