Year to date, the $SPX is only XXX% up.

WHILE

Year to date, $DXY the US $$ is DOWN 11.2%.

So even if you bought and held, you're still DOWN X% +/-.

I.e., stocks aren't in a BULL market....

we're just seeing the destruction of the USD.
