The omnichain version of Bitcoin, the most widely used version of Bitcoin across chains, i.e., WBTC, is now live on Aptos.

Previously, the OKX partnership and the integration of xBTC made me think that BTCfi on Aptos was a real movement, but now it confirms that in reality.

The Wrapped Bitcoin asset can now be sent via @LayerZero_Core, i.e., the @StargateFinance platform, which has been available for some time to bridge funds from EVM to Aptos.

Transferring WBTC to Aptos is easy, but what can you do with it on the chain?

- Lend it on either @EchelonMarket (my go-to choice) or @AriesMarkets 
- I am sure @hyperion_xyz will bring in some good LP opportunities with good APRs very soon
- Trading can be done on either Hyperion, or @ThalaLabs, or as always, @PanoraExchange, which will give you the best rates

Currently, Aptos has $XXX million in BTC-backed assets, and I am betting that this will go over $XXX million within the next two weeks. It's programmed to happen because Stablecoins and BTC move better on @Aptos.
