Why do people want humaniod robots? For the same reason that automobiles have human-like faces. X headlights are "odd" to the human brain. We are uncomfortable with what looks "other" and a server, surgeon, or dancing partner looks like "us" it will have a 10x faster acceptance rate. @elonmusk gets the psychological element of design and its applications.
