Milky Mist Dairy Food files draft papers with Sebi; seeks to raise Rs 2,035-cr via IPO

Dairy products maker Milky Mist Dairy Food Ltd on Monday filed preliminary papers with capital markets regulator Sebi to raise Rs XXXXX crore through an initial public offering (IPO).

The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs XXXXX crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of shares valued at Rs XXX crore by promoters, according to the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP).

Proceeds from the fresh issue to the tune of Rs XXX crore will be used for payment of debt, Rs XXX crore for the expansion and modernisation of the Perundurai manufacturing facility, which includes setting up whey protein concentrate, yogurt, and cream cheese plants.

Further, Rs XXX crore will be invested in deploying visi coolers, ice cream freezers, and chocolate coolers, and the remaining funds will be allocated towards general corporate purposes.
