@Tantoshorse @hardyrenos UBI doesn't give the government more power, it gives power to the people. 

Every month. 

Money is power. 

Unconditional / Universal Basic Income means everybody gets it and the government can't take it away from you. That's what UBI is. 

Anything else is not UBI.
