Dumped in Lake Washington near Seattle in 1945, the dive bomber was salvaged by two teenagers in 1984. After a legal battle with the Navy over ownership, the plane was fully restored to flying condition and is now part of the collection at the National Museum of World War II Aviation in Colorado Springs.
