@FossilLocator That’s not a conspiracy theory.

I met one of these families in 1998 in the hills above Gatlinburg, Tennessee. 

Their kind has since retreated higher, deeper into the mountains, far and away from the tourists.

Only to be stumbled upon at the opportune moment.
