Also, it's a goal, lots of companies are announcing ambitious capital-raising targets. I was initially reluctant to go down this path due to XX years of abuse from the SEC. However, we ultimately decided to take the risk and move forward with our $100m capital raise goal (which we increased to $250m the next day). Now $189m in the bank towards our $250m goal. My wife jokingly referred to it as a “self-licking ice cream cone,” which inspired this post: Announcing a large financing and actually delivering on it, without blowing up your cap table or massive dilution, are two very different things. I'm bullish on ETH and wallstreet has finally recognized the power of ETH so I think they'll get their but they won't circumvent the S4 and proxy timelines. FWIW - I was an investment banker for ~10years before getting into crypto.
